I am proud to call Canada home. Like many of you, I chose to raise my family in Canada due to its promise, opportunities and freedom. 

 

Unfortunately, the Canada we once knew and loved is under threat. Our current Liberal Government has failed hardworking Canadians with their disastrous policies resulting in a Canada with high housing costs, high crime, high taxes, and attacks on our freedoms. It’s time for change. We must restore Canada to its former glory.

 

Throughout my 30-year career as a broadcaster, actor, and singer, I have connected with communities, united people, and championed important causes. During the earthquake in Haiti, I led a 12-hour Haiti Earthquake Relief concert in Markham, raising $40,000 for World Vision Canada. I played a key role coordinating the “E.T. Come Home” walk, a historic 82-day journey all the way from St. John back to Markham that raised $200,000 for children’s education. I organized an immediate 20-hour Indian Ocean Tsunami Relief concert, raising $160,000 to support affected communities. Whether organizing relief efforts or advocating for global and local issues, my track record speaks volumes.

 

Now, I am running to serve you and our community as your Conservative candidate. I will fight to stop crime in our neighborhoods, lower taxes, and create opportunities for future generations. Together, we can ensure that our children are safe, free, and able to thrive in a Canada that lives up to its promise.

 

Above all, I pledge to defend freedom and democracy. The outrageous arrest warrant and bounty issued against me by the Hong Kong government during my nomination campaign must serve as a wake-up call. This attempt at transnational repression and intimidation of Canadians should and will not be tolerated. As your representative, I will fight to protect our citizens, safeguard our rights, and uphold Canada’s sovereignty and values.
